Urological Services

Urology is a subspecialty of surgery that treats conditions of the male and female urinary tract as well as of the male reproductive organs.

The Urology Department at Sutter Delta Medical Center provides urological treatments including:

• Cystoscopy
• Laser lithotripsy treatment for kidney stones
• "No-scalpel" vasectomies
• Pediatric urology
• Prostate brachytherapy (internal radiation therapy for prostate cancer)
• Treatments for urinary incontinence
• TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate, used for cancerous and noncancerous conditions)
