Sutter Delta is home to a highly advanced Surgery Department with six fully equipped operating suites, one of which is dedicated for C-section care. Our skilled surgeons provide a comprehensive range of surgical services close to home. Some procedures can be performed using minimally invasive techniques, which often shortens recovery time and reduces postoperative pain.

Critical Care Unit | Outpatient Care Unit | Telemetry Unit
Critical Care Unit
Sutter Delta’s critical care unit (CCU) is a medical-surgical unit that specializes in caring for the critically ill adult. It is fully staffed by certified critical care registered nurses. All rooms are equipped with cardiac and circulation monitoring and eICU systems.
The CCU is for adult and geriatric patients at high risk for developing life-threatening medical, surgical or cardiac problems or who may need IV or thrombolytic (blood clot) therapy, cardiac, oxygen or circulatory monitoring, mechanical ventilation or cardiac pacing.

Outpatient Care Unit
Sutter Delta’s outpatient care unit is a specially designed unit equipped with telemetry monitoring services that caters to our transfusion and infusion services patient population. Patients may also be placed in this unit for observational services as prescribed.

Telemetry Unit
Sutter Delta’s telemetry unit is dedicated to patients who may need continuous cardiac monitoring and/or therapeutic intervention. Patients who need either pre- or postcardiac catheterization or pacemaker insertions, or who have congestive heart failure syncope, cardiac dyshythmias or respiratory-related illnesses.
