    Visiting Hours

Sutter Delta practices a family-centered philosophy and therefore welcomes guests and visitors 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, we may need to limit the number of visitors in a semiprivate room to respect the needs of both patients.

Children are welcome. However, children younger than age 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Should the children become disruptive, they may be asked to leave the patient care areas.

We reserve the right to revoke visitation privileges for the following reasons:

    • Breach of privacy
    • Disruptive behavior
    • Roommate stress caused by visitation
    • Threat to patient or staff safety
    • Visitors under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Staying the night in a patient’s room must be preapproved by the charge nurse and can occur only if a patient has a private room. Minors, including babies, cannot room in with an adult patient.
