Rehabilitation Services
Physical Therapy
The overall goal of the physical therapy department is to deliver comprehensive services to individuals including infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Inpatient and outpatient services are provided and include comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, delivery and documentation of care, consultation, re-evaluation and discharge planning. All procedures require a written order from a licensed physician.
All services are provided with emphasis on quality patient care based on sound professional ethics. Diagnostic assessment, direct therapeutic intervention, patient and family/caregiver education and staff consultation and training are integral portions of the Physical Therapy services program.
Inpatient services are performed at the bedside on all acute care units. Outpatient services are provided in the rehabilitation gym.

Occupational Therapy
The overall goal of the occupational therapy department is to deliver comprehensive services to individuals including children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Inpatient and outpatient services are provided and include comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, delivery and documentation of care, consultation, re-evaluation and discharge planning. All services are provided with emphasis on quality patient care based on sound professional ethics. Diagnostic assessment, direct therapeutic intervention, patient and family/caregiver education and staff consultation and training are integral portions of the Occupational Therapy program.
Inpatient services are performed at the bedside on all acute care units. Outpatient services are provided in the rehabilitation gym.

Speech Therapy
The Speech-Language pathology Department is located on the first floor of the Hospital within the Rehabilitation Department. Radiographic Swallowing Examinations (Modified Barium Swallow Studies) are conducted in an x-ray room in the Radiology/Medical Imaging Department. Evaluations and Therapy may also be provided in patient rooms.
The Speech-Language Pathology Department serves child/pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
All services are provided with emphasis on quality patient care based on sound professional ethics. Diagnostic assessment, direct therapeutic intervention, patient and family education, and staff consultation and training are integral portions of the Speech-Language Pathology program.
The disorders treated include, but are not limited to Aural Rehabilitation, Child Speech/Language Disorders, Dysfluency, Dysphagia, Laryngectomy, Motor Speech Disorders, Speech/Language/Cognitive Disorders, Aphasia, and Voice Disorders.
