Delta Memorial Hospital Foundation
Delta Memorial Hospital Foundation accepts gifts of all types, including cash, checks, securities, real estate and planned gifts in support of hospital programs, facilities and equipment.
Donors may designate their gifts to a specific program or equipment need in the hospital. They may also choose to designate their gift to the area of greatest need. All gifts are gratefully accepted and acknowledged. We are a nonprofit charity and thus all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest
extent of the law.
The policy of Sutter Health is that all charitable contributions remain in the local community and will be used for local hospital needs. If you have questions or wish to donate, please call 925-628-7284 or send an email to Victoria Caldeira at caldeiv@sutterhealth.org.
Cardiovascular Intervention Laboratory
The Delta Memorial Hospital Foundation (DMHF) raises money to support advances in service at Sutter Delta Medical Center.
The best example is the Cardiovascular Intervention Laboratory that opened in September 2009. This unit has one of the Bay Area’s most advanced cardiovascular imaging systems, capable of providing live, high-definition views of the body’s vascular system. It is the only unit of its kind in East Contra Costa County.
Through golf tournaments and major gifts from community members, Delta Memorial Hospital Foundation raised more than $300,000 toward the cost of this life-saving cardiovascular service.

Community Health Clinic
The Sutter Delta Community Health Clinic is another shining example of the work that DMHF provides to the community.
The purpose of the Clinic is to fill a gap in access to health care by providing evening, drop-in appointments for people who have no insurance. While the Clinic’s primary role is to provide urgent care, it also conducts more extensive patient education for people with diabetes.

Save a Life Sister Program
In addition, the Foundation supports the Save a Life Sister program. For more than 17 years, this program has provided breast cancer screening for people of all ages. In 2010, the program provided mammography services for 289 women.
