Little Helpers'
The Little Helpers’ class is designed to help siblings feel comfortable with the new addition that will be joining their family. The class is approximately 45-60 minutes and is geared towards siblings who range from ages 3-8 years. Siblings 9 years and older are always welcome to attend as well.
The siblings will practice changing a diaper, swaddling a baby, and holding the baby by using a doll representing their new baby. The sibling(s) will watch an informative child friendly video about babies, feelings, and so much more. During the video they are served juice and crackers. They will be sent home with a coloring book reinforcing what they have learned.
At the end of the class all the children will be able to take a quick tour of the floor. They will be able to look in the rooms, say "hi" to the nurses and become familiar with the area where Mommy will be with the baby.
For further information please call 925-779-2955.
