Prenatal Classes

Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your new child. Sutter Delta offers a comprehensive set of class for expectant parents and their families. Pre-registration is required for all classes. Ready, Set, Deliver

This four session class covers what to expect in your last trimester of pregnancy; signs of labor, making a plan for delivery and what to expect in the post partum period. Tips for care of the newborn are also covered. Pre-registration is required.

Dates:Wed. April 9, 16, 23, & 30 (meets weekly for four classes)
Wed. May 7, 14, 21, & 28 (meets weekly for four classes)
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Cost:$75 per couple – receipt of payment guarantees your registration
Location: Sutter Delta Medical Center

Based on availability, we will have an anesthesiologist and pediatrician come by to talk to class participants and answer any questions they have.

Breast-Feeding Class

This one-session informational class discusses the benefits of breast-feeding, newborn feeding patterns, positioning, how to tell if the baby is getting enough milk and avoiding common problems.

Schedule: Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Cost:$25 per couple

Little Helper Sibling Class

This one-session class helps children ages 3 to 8 prepare for a new baby in the family.

Schedule: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Cost:$10 per family
