Sutter Delta Medical Center's Women's Health Center offers a variety of classes for new mothers.

Our 2012 offerings include the following:
New Moms Support Group
This group offers a place to come and meet other new mothers and their babies. A lactation counselor is available to answer your questions and provide breast-feeding assistance.
The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Women's Health Center, Family Lounge.

Lactation Services by Appointment
The Women's Health Center has a lactation consultant on staff. The lactation consultant will contact breast-feeding mothers in the center before discharge if possible or with a follow-up phone call at home. One-on-one lactation services are also available for out-patient appointments. These appointments can be made by a health care provider, self-referral or inpatient contact.
