Senior Driver Safety Classes
AARP 55 Alive
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's largest classroom refresher course for drivers age 50 and older that has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today's roads. The 8 hour course is designed to help you:
This class will teach you about the legal document that allows you to appoint someone to speak for you, on your behalf in the event of a medical emergency. It is important to consider an Advance Healthcare Directive now, while you are still able to communicate your treatment preferences to your physician and family.
The causes for CHF are varied but treatments are fairly consistent. Come to this two day class to learn some "tricks of the trade," for coping with manageable condition.
Many Americans have factors that put them at risk for high blood pressure, heart attack, and strokes. If your doctor has recently informed you that you have one or more risk factors that need to be changed you will want to attend this class.
Are you ready to quit smoking? In order to successfully quit smoking, you need to understand why smoking is an addiction and learn how to change your behaviors that trigger you to smoke before you quit smoking.
The main goal of the class is to assist you in becoming comfortable with talking about and coping with angina on a day to day basis in addition to being more comfortable. After attending this class you will have a better understanding of angina, the cause, diagnosis and treatment of the disease, as well as when to treat at home versus calling 911.
This three-hour class teaches recognition and emergency resuscitation techniques for laypersons who want to learn rescue skills for a loved one.
