Cancer Services
Cancer is a frightening and complex disease. Sutter Delta Medical Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services for cancer care close to home.
We use a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team approach for treatment, including physicians, laboratory and pharmacy services, and support groups, as well as patient education about prevention, diagnosis and treatment options.
For many types of cancer, early detection is important because the disease is easier to treat in its earlier stages. Sutter Delta uses advanced imaging technology to help diagnose and localize cancer more quickly and accurately.
We also provide a variety of surgical interventions to treat cancer. Our tumor registry tracks the health status of patients, furthering scientific review of patient protocols and analysis of trends and developing optimum standards of care.
