Adult Family Members & Friends of Cancer Patients
A diagnosis of cancer affects more than just the patient; families and friends experience the emotional turmoil, as well. This ongoing support group, facilitated by an oncology social worker who is also a cancer survivor, provides a safe and confidential atmosphere. Members have the opportunity to share common feelings and discuss ways of communicating and adjusting to a loved one's cancer. Participants learn new coping skills and ways to take time for themselves. Open to the community. To register call, 781-5000. Group meets at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Please note, the group does not meet on holidays. View Flyer
